An interviewer asked Mother Teresa what she says to God when she prays.
"I don't say anything," she replied. "I just listen."
So the interviewer asked her what God says to her.
"He doesn't say anything," said Mother Teresa. "He just listens." And before the astonished interviewer could press her further, she added, "And if you don't understand that, I can't explain it to you."

The interviewer might be the last person to understand that -reporters are the merchants of our word / talking / noise addicted culture. Our prime minister, Stephen Harper,is fond of saying, “Listen … ” before he starts off on whatever justification he has for what his government is about to do next. I never thought about it until now … I think he has a God complex. :-)
Listen otter, Obama likes to say “Look” and poor Caroline Kennedy could not stop saying “y’now”. Everyone wants to be understood, including God. You know what I mean. Let me be perfectly clear about this. Make no mistake about it…
